Virtual Church is designed to be a supplement to - not replacement for - your involvement in a church family. There may be a time when you have a need that your church or pastor cannot fill because of circumstances.
The pastor of Virtual Church is an active ordained minister in the Free Methodist Church and is available to provide the pastoral support you may need for the funeral of your family member.
The pastor is also a retired Marine Corps officer and a police chaplain. When appropriate the pastor is available to conduct or assist in funerals for military, law enforcement, and other first response personnel.

Pastors should devote a significant amount of time when they are called to do a funeral. There are telephone calls, visitation, preparation of the eulogy and service, travel, and so on. Since the pastor normally takes this time not from his normal pastoral duties, but from his family, there is usually an honorarium associated with officiating at a funeral. This honorarium is normally handled through the funeral home. A few families wish to provide the honorarium directly to the pastor. Normally, an honorarium ranges from $100 to $200.
